In 1997, Kris Burm started a unique project with the game GIPF. In October 2003, the 5th is now published with YINSH. Game in this series, which will complete the project. YINSH leads to GIPF in a wonderful way. Yet another game will follow, which will be sorted before YINSH. In the BrettspielWelt, YINSH after DVONN is the second game from this project. Once again, the author succeeded with easy rules a non-triviaal game, which is probably a treat for all DVONN and GIPF fans.
Players try to make five-row rows with stones. All stones can be turned through the rings, which easily reminds of Othello. With each train a stone comes more into the field and the possibilities increase. Only when a player has made a five will these five stones be removed again. This can abruptly change the situation in the field.
The stones with their two sides, which are turned through the rings, show how well the game theme "Sturm" and the game mechanism work together here.
YINSH launches world premiere in the BrettspielWelt. It is only presented three weeks later in Essen at the game'03.
