We're in the cold Antarctica. Each player has a group of penguins that all have cravings on fish. The field consists of ice floes on which fish lie. The players are fighting for this. To do this they draw their penguins from Scholle to Scholle. The fish found there may be the penguin (and thus the player). A plaice leaving a penguin sinks in the water. The hunting grounds are gradually becoming more rare. The game finally ends when no player can pull anymore because no ice cholle is free or accessible.

Packeis at the pole is an entertaining, fun, but also tactical laying game for 2-4 people. The thematic action fits perfectly to the game principle. The game is especially recommended for two people.
