Meuterer was presented by Marcel André Casasola Merkle as the successor of traitors. Once again, he succeeded in a gripping card game, which visually reminds very much of traitors, but the game sequence is very different. Players are on board a ship that travels from island to island. Everyone tries to sell their raw materials to the inhabitants. But also by mutiny against the captain it is possible to achieve victory points. The combination of these two elements makes the game.
Meuterer, unlike traitors, does not depend very much on the behaviour of fellow players. You can plan for yourself better!
Meuterer was a match of the German team championships in the Brettspiel 2002. It was like his predecessor card game of the year.
