The world of board games has grown and developed over many years. Over the last 20 years, a lot has changed in terms of technology. In addition to stationary computers, tablets and smartphones are the most widely used devices.

In order to take this change into account, m.BSW was brought to life. A completely browser-based way to use the world of board games.

The interface

1. Main menu selection: Chat On/Off, Play, Players, Community, News.
2. Submenu according to the current main selection.
3. Search for game, player or group, context help, notifications and own settings.
4. Create your own new game table. Search for a game that is not suggested
.
5. Quick Spietisch creation of one of your recently played games.
6. Spietisch where players are currently waiting in public.
7. Chat area, similar function to the usual messenger.

Main menu

Use this to switch between the different areas of the Board Game World.

Chat

Shows and hides the Chat area. On mobile devices with a small display, the Chat is superimposed over the rest of the application or hidden.

Play

The area for active gaming. Here you can see your game table and other game tables where players are wanted.

You can view a selection of games sorted by category or game recommendations for you.

Under favorites you will find your most recently played and most played games, as well as games that you favor.

Players

Here you can find information about yourself and other players.

You can view your last teammates, quickly find your friends and admire your achievements.

You can also find your statistics on the various games you have played here.

Community

The community area consists of a "stream" of groups you have joined. It offers you a selection of groups that you can join or to which you have been invited.

In addition to the tournament area, you will also be able to find city information on the cities of the BrettspielWelt here.

Here you can post in groups you have joined and create new groups.

News

Here you will find news from the world of board games as well as the latest news from us.

In the "Dashboard" you have a good place to see who of your friends is currently online and have a quick way to start one of your last games. You will also see your current group messages there.

Search

The search function in the top navigation area can be a great help when using BrettspielWelt.

You can quickly search for a game at any time, find a fellow player or friend and jump directly into a group. As you type in the search field, various suggestions are displayed to save you unnecessary typing.

Each entry is marked with an icon that shows you what it is about. (game, player, group)

Context Help

If a context help (3) is available for a page, you can click on it to get a suitable help for the corresponding page. We will always try to keep these up to date.
