Carcassonne Extension

Long awaited for it finally arrives! It was presented at Spielwarenmesse 2002 in Nuremberg. An extension to Carcassonne, Game of the Year 2001, there are some new components.

Added are inns on the lake, which double the points for road. Thus the roads can score similar to towns. In the towns there are two cathedrals, which can double the value of the town, however, only if the town is completed. Otherwise it does not score. Each player also gets a "Large Meeple" which is worth 2 normal meeples.

The author has maintained that equal balance feel about the game. The expansion is a must for those who love the original game. It offers many new new possibilities. It can also be played with the river expansion! The game now plays with 101 tiles!

What a wonderful series the Carcassonne set is!
