Build your card deck, move your game characters towards target and hit the characters of the others.
Those who first manage to get all their own characters to the finish win the game.
The complete rules can be found here download.
At the start of the game, one of your characters is already in play and is on your starting field. Your other figures are on waiting fields.
The following steps are taken successively:
Play your 3 handcards in a sequence of your choice. With each card you can move your figures, beat other figures and/or get coins from stock. In addition, some cards protect your characters from being beaten.
To move figures, apply a map to the figure and then click on the desired or possible target field.
You must complete the movement of each card played. Whenever you can't do this, you have to put the card unused on your stack. For an imaged coin symbol, you will still receive the coins from the stock.
Whenever you finish your movement in the field of an opposing figure, you sleep this figure. If the figure is protected by a sign symbol, you will land in the next field before the figure.
Some cards have special symbols:
This symbol means that you can't beat an opposing figure with this card. If you were to land with such a card on a field with an opposing figure, you would instead move to the next free field in front of this figure.
If your top card has a sign symbol, all your characters are protected and cannot be beaten.
A map with the sign breaker icon allows you to beat an opposing figure even if it is actually protected.
There are 2 ways to bring new characters into play:
(a) You play a card with the right function. Two of your start cards have this function, the 1 and the 6.
(b) You can place 2 handcards on your stack without running them. To do this, click the corresponding icon and 2 handcards - then the "Shadow figure" on your starting field.
You can then buy one or more cards from the open card market. The costs are in the upper right corner of each card.
Each newly purchased card is placed under cover on your personal retrieval stack.
Subsequently, 3 handcards are drawn from the drawer stack and the card market is filled up.
If the redrawing stack is empty, the deposit stack is mixed and the new redrawing stack. If a card with shield is on top of your deposit pile, you have the choice to leave it as the only card to be protected for another round (1) - or to mix it with the new draw pile (2).
You have to pull a target field with your characters. You can't take a single step of a played card. If you don't, you have to leave the card unused.
You can skip characters already on a target field.
Anyone who manages to put all their own figures in the finish wins the game immediately.
