The players start at the castle and begin the dangerous journey via a cave where lives an ever hungry dragon, which eatss player. The players try to get to the end of the cave and collect as much gold and gems on the way.
On your turn you may move up to two men the number of spaces equal to the total number of pawns on the space your pawn is moving from. If during your first move you either take gold/gems or reach the end of the cave, you forfeit your second pawn's move. When you land on a space in the cave showing a gem or gold you MUST take one of these. If the space within the cave is empty you may take your second move.
When a pawn lands on the track of the dragon (highlighted by the white bar in the cave), the dragon wakes up and moves. He moves randomly 1-3 spaces in the direction he is facing. If he comes to the end of the white track he turns round and faces the other way. His track will now move toward the right of the cave until it reaches the color right, after which it will stay covering the last 4 spaces in the cave.
If the dragon lands on the space where a pawn sits, that player must make a decision. Give up one of his gold cards or be eaten. A pop-up window will show to let you make your choice.
If you don't want to be eaten you must give up some gold. Select from the pop-up window whether to offer one of your gold cards or your life. Click on a gold card or the pawn icon.
All eaten pawns are shown in the dragon's cave next to the knight icon.
The game ends when either 4 pawns have made it through the cave or if any player has only one active pawn left (i.e. not in the end of the cave or eaten).
Points are scored as follows:
The player with most points wins the game. Where there is a tie, the person with the most pawns home wins, followed by the person with the most gems.
