The extension to Carcassonne consists of 18 new boxes as well as a great follower. The rules of the basic game can be found directly at Carcassonne. You can also start the river extension.
If one or more hostage cards are in a finished road, the road camper will receive two points per road section (number of cards). However, if such a road is not completed until the end of the game, there are no points for this! In the right example, the host house counts only for the right road section.
If one or both cathedrals are in a finished city, the knight will receive 3 points per district (number of maps) and coats of arms. But if the city is not closed until the end of the game, there are no points for the entire city!
The monastery separates the road in two sections of the road.
The intersection divides the road into two road sections. At the short ends towards the cities, no road campers may be set.
Each player receives a great follower to his seven followers. This can be used like any other follower.
With a score he counts as if the player has two normal followers in the corresponding area (street, city, meadow). After a score he returns to the player like any other follower and can be re-used from the next train. If one places the great follower as a farmer, he remains on the map as well as the other farmers until playing.
