The rules in the board game world are actually quite simple: be friendly, play fairly and be tolerant. If you are new to a game, use the chat and greet your fellow players and be patient with slower players. Help others if they are unsure and read the instructions before you start a new game. Behave respectfully, avoid insults and racist remarks. In short: behave as if you were playing with friends at home.

One of the aims of BrettspielWelt is to bring people together in real places to play games. As the number of users has grown, this has become a matter of course. Board Game World meetings are held all over the world throughout the year. Most of them are now organized by users. A good overview can be found in the forum Appointments and Meetings. This is also the right place to advertise your own meeting.
Unfortunately, due to the high number of real-life meetings, we are no longer able to take part in all events ourselves. However, there is a big BrettspielWelt meeting every year, which we organize ourselves, so you can meet us there.
